The Sixth Column is a hero-side Virtue supergroup in the popular MMORPG, City of Heroes.
The Sixth Column is made up of people of various ethnicities, religions, sexual orientations, and political affiliations. The Column is always willing to accept new members; if you are interested in joining, please look to the 'How to Join' link at the top of the page.
The Sixth Column is a moderate-RP supergroup; we
accept both roleplayers and non-roleplayers, though we do require a
uniform and a small amount of roleplay in the way officers are
addressed and in a simple 'Basic Training' routine.
Supergroup chat is required to be in-character; however, if you choose not to partake in RP, we have a global channel that is entirely out of character for general chat.
Q: Are you guys nazis?
A: We are most definitely not. We welcome members from all walks of life, and we actively fight against discrimination of any kind.

Q: If you're fighting against the 5th Column, why do you look and name yourselves like them?
A: In character, the Sixth Column was founded by a group of disillusioned 5th Columnists who saw the evils being committed by the 5th Column and decided to defect. The name 'Sixth Column' comes from the definition of 5th Column: a group of people who clandestinely undermine a larger group from within. We, as the Sixth Column, are working to undermine the 5th Column, and though we are working from the outside, we think it's a catchy name.
Well-read science fiction fans may also recognize Sixth Column as the name of a Robert Heinlein novel, in which the term is used in a similar fashion.
